Last week I shared an OOTD with the same sparkly gold sweater as a festive look to celebrate NYE! Another way to style it is with leather pants, which meld glam and edge to get a fancy look that is full of character! This outfit focuses on just black and gold, with no other variations in tone. Paired with bold accessories, such as black chandelier earrings, a black leather Versace-inspired bag, and black leather heels, this look is will make you want to get your party on!

Such a festive outfit for New Years celebrations, especially with the sparkly gold sweater! I paired this top with a plain black pencil skirt, which can be found in most wardrobes. This makes it very convenient for an office to night out look; all you have to do is switch out your top! Moreover, animal print has been such a hit this year, so you will definitely look like the fashionista that you are with the leopard print heels. Although this outfit has a lot of character and is a little bit flashier than normal, it is elegant and cohesive. By staying within the same colour palette throughout (black and gold tones), the entire outfit flows very nicely.
This look is perfect for a Christmas celebration with friends and family! It is really festive, with a touch of blue velvet and diamonds that sparkle like winter frosting. “Ladies of New York, frost yourselves!” – who knows where this line comes from? (It is a really funny movie. If you know it, let me know in the comments section below). If you live somewhere with a bit of a chill, throw a black fur coat over your shoulders for added warmth and style.

This look is very elegant and glamorous for Christmas, without being in-your-face or tacky. I love the combination of the feminine blouse with the edgier leather pants; it creates a good balance between the two. Not overly sweet but not completely rocker either. Styled with a nice pair of black high heels and a pearl necklace, this outfit is perfect for Christmas parties with the family, midnight mass (worn with a black coat), or even work parties.

I am loving the combination of red and leather details in this outfit! Since we are nearing Christmas, it gives off a festive vibe, and can be worn for the office with black dress pants or tucked into a pencil skirt. Alternatively, it can be paired with a black party skirt for other holiday occasions. An easy trick for making your style more festive is to wear a bold coloured blouse (such as royal blue or red) combined with dressy pants or a dressy skirt, black heels, and some bling (ex: on a clutch or jewelry).
Instead of wearing traditional black pants, I opted for a pair with gold zippers and a leather waistband. This really makes them stand out from your typical black dress pants, and adds a moto-chic, edgy vibe to your overall outfit. These could also be worn with other colour blouses or knitwear during the Fall, or a plain white tee tucked in for the Spring.
